Supah 3D is a collaborative project born out of our mutual
interest in interactive museum installations, an interest
in education through entertainment, and our ability
to use expensive technology with very little supervision.
The project's aim was three fold:
1. Give users
an immersive tele-presence experience, by giving them
a "just like being there" experience.
2. Explore both the power of control (input)
and 3D (output) for creating that "just like being
there" experience.
3. Explain how some 3D effects work by demystifying
the experience - exposing the basically low-tech components
in a casual, unassuming, and therefore unthreatening
installation.
